A Lie Is A Lie
“A lie can run around the world six times while the truth is still trying to put on its pants.”
Everything is a lie, and you can do anything to make people believe this lie. Sounds rather cynical, doesn’t it? But in a time of fake news and misleading statistics, it’s becoming increasingly difficult for people to know if what they are seeing or reading is actually true.
Many bad things in life start with a lie. there are the lies others tell you to manipulate their way to getting what they want. But we know how to recover and learn. Perhaps the most devastating lie is one that someone completely makes up to hurt you or try to ruin your life.
You know what, there are now more people than ever who believe that lying to get what you want, be it power, money, or revenge, is now the way of the world and perfectly acceptable.
Let me explain to you, that one (GIRL) and her (FAMILY) accused me of stealing a beautiful flower in the garden. They abused and humiliated me and my friend while the girl played a key role in getting us demeaned. The girl uttered a white lie but the reality was different.
You know Allah’s wisdom is different and truth always comes in a beautiful way. Truth is always truth. We cannot deny it. Allah watches everything whatever we did or do. They forgot truth finally surfaces as butter surfaces on the top of a cup of tea.
In surah Hujurat, Allah reminds us of the repercussions of making such dirty and filthy and false Assumptions.’’ O’ you who have believed, avoid many negative assumptions. Indeed false Assumptions and false accusations are a major sin . And do not spy on each other. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his brother when dead? You would detest it. And fear Allah.
Her family supported her without knowing the truth. Well actually whatever she played and showed with the help of other members was really disgusting. Whatever she had done with me and my friend actually exposed her hypocritic nature.
Let me tell you in a Quranic way. Allah says in Surah Al -Munafiq,” When the hypocrites come to you, [O Muḥammad], they say, “We testify that you are the Messenger of Allah.” And Allah knows that you are His Messenger, and Allah testifies that the hypocrites are liars.
They have taken their oaths as a cover, so they averted [people] from the way of Allah. Indeed, it was evil that they were doing. That is because they believed, and then they disbelieved; so their hearts were sealed over, and they do not understand.
When you see them, their appearance impresses you. And when they speak, you listen to their ˹impressive˺ speech. But they are ˹just˺ like ˹worthless˺ planks of wood leaned ˹against a wall˺. They think every cry is against them. They are the enemy, so beware of them.May Allah destroy them. How can they be deluded ˹from the truth˺?
And Allah belongs the depositories of the heavens and the earth, but the hypocrites do not understand.
Let us quote an anonymous- “Neither the way is wrong, nor the destination is wrong, wrong is the one whose intentions are wrong.”
Now back to the story- there were some who believed the statement of the girl.
Lying comes from selfishness. Any liar wants what they want, and they don’t care who they have to hurt to get it, and if it’s someone they are mad at, so much the better. Are you feeling me? Because if you are, then it has happened to you, and the pain is a lot harder to get rid of than a bad habit.
Lies, that people spread about others can make life hell. When your integrity and rectitude are called into question, you fear for your reputation. You can’t stop others from saying what they want and you feel helpless when the damage is already been doen.
In such a situation, some go deep into depression while others even commit suicide. I and my friend are shocked and stunned, want to know the motive behind the lie that was attributed to us. We did nothing and yet were targeted.
Lies only hurt; let’s remember that. Let’s also not forget the damage that a lie can done. “If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed.”
Lies are always uncovered. Eventually. That may not help you right now, but it is something to hold on to. And remember that nothing good and enduring ever comes from a lie.
When you see someone engaging in something questionable, do not assume nor accuse the worst. Create a thousand of beautiful excuses for that person May be.
I am not telling ignore the actions. My question is simple as that to make sure you did all you can to see positively. We have listened to these things bundles of times. So now it’s time to take it as a great thing with a good opportunity.
I pray that Allah helps me to think the best about the people. And Allah also allows everyone to overcome their negative thoughts and develop positive thinking. Positive thinking means cultivating positivity in our minds so that we can get through anything.
May Allah bless everyone and bless me as well
